The Course Fee includes:

• residence at the School in a safe and beautiful countryside campus with all facilities
• all meals including a buffet with a huge choice for all tastes ¹
• a relevant 'task-based' teaching programme centred round video creation and including preparation for the Trinity GESE qualification
• a sports and entertainments programme appropriate to the student's age
• supervised travel Heathrow-School/School-Heathrow ²
• fees, health and possessions insurance ³
• the laundering of clothes ⁴

Collection From Heathrow Airport

ALL TERMINALS between 12.00-16.00 on 7 July 2024 - No charge if notified on the 'Agreement and Travel Details' form by 6 June 2024.  

Return To Heathrow Airport

ALL TERMINALS between 10.00-13.00 on 3 August 2024 - No charge if notified on the 'Agreement and Travel Details' form by 6 June 2024.

Note: *Our free collection/return service operates at ALL TERMINALS on 7 July only for flights arriving between 12.00 and 16.00 and on 3 August only for flights departing between 10.00 and 13.00. All travel information is to be communicated before 6 June 2024 on our 'Agreement and Travel Details' form.  If a flight is scheduled to leave after 20.00 on 3 August, departure must be on 2 August.

Course Fees are inclusive. The only extra charges are for trips, theatre visits and the Trinity examination.

The Course Fee does not include:

• pocket money

• travel to and from England

Pocket money

Pocket money can either be brought by students as cash or sent in advance to the National Westminster Bank, 30 Market Place, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 5AJ in £ Sterling to Vacational Studies Pocket Money A/C 65400100 (IBAN number GB19 NWBK 6015 0765 4001 00) or in euro to Vacational Studies Pocket Money A/C 10388494 (IBAN number GB19 NWBK 6072 0610 3884 94). Our BIC number is: NWBK GB 2L. Parents may prefer to give a debit card and not send money at all. We do not recommend an amount, but students will tend to bring about £350 spending money. The Parents' Page (parents will be given the access codes) includes a 'Note about Pocket Money'.

The cost of trips, optional theatre visit(s) and the Trinity examination should be added to spending money and will be deducted on arrival day.

Do not send more money during the Course.

There are NO EXTRA CHARGES except for optional church, theatre or shopping visits. A deduction of £8 is made from pocket money to provide extras for the 'Club'. £20 'caution money' will be retained in the student's pocket money account until the last day when it will be returned in £ Sterling cash less deductions for damages (if any.)

Payment

Course fees are in £ Sterling and invoiced in £ Sterling, but we can issue invoices in € euro or $ US dollars at the prevailing rate of exchange on request. See here for exchange rates. Payment is usually by bank-to-bank transfer. Please quote your invoice number with your payment. Please do not send payment until you have received our invoice.

Refunds

Full refund from us for cancellation (no reason needed) up to 60 days before the Course begins. After 60 days, refunds are made by our Insurers only for events covered by the free insurance policy we provide for all students. Insurers and all in the UK work in £ Sterling. € euro and $ US dollar payments are converted into £ Sterling on receipt. € euro and $ US dollar pocket money payments are converted into £ Sterling on 1 July. Refunds will be in £ Sterling or in € or $ at the exchange rates (the 'bank sells to you' column here) on the day of refund.
