Vacational Studies 2013 English Summer Course is at The Mary Hare School, Newbury, UK. Newbury is a small country town in a pleasant part of southern England in the Berkshire Downs. It is 70km west of London and 45km south of Oxford.

The Mary Hare School is a great venue for our multinational, residential English Language Summer School. It is on a campus comprising several buildings that we have used since 1982. Accommodation depends on age. There are 4-bed dormitories; 3 bed dormitories; twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a few single rooms. For our videos we use the formal gardens; for orienteering we use the woodlands; for activities, sports and fun games we use the extensive grounds which include several playing fields, a range of tennis courts, a gymnasium and a large indoor heated swimming pool. For the many indoor events, we use the gymnasium and huge hall. During the year, The Mary Hare Grammar School is the national school for deaf children.
